SAVEL, short for Société d' Abattage de Volailles Et de Lapins ( Poultry and Rabbit Slaughtering Company ), is first and foremost the story of a family of master poultry farmers, passed down from father to son.

Founded in 1968 , the company, under the leadership of Gabriel and Madeleine Léon, became the European leader in its sector. It has consistently adapted, anticipated trends, and never stopped growing.
