This savory galette with egg and basil is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even as a light lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • Le Monde des Crêpes galette
  • 1 egg 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  • Preheat your pan.
  • Roll out the pre-made Le Monde des Crêpes galette.
  • Break the fresh egg onto the center of the galette dough, leaving about 2 inches of space around the edges.
  • Add the chopped basil leaves.
  • Fold the edges of the galette dough up and over the egg, forming a circular shape.
  • Brush the edges of the galette dough with extra-virgin olive oil.
  • Season the egg with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pan-fry the galette, or until the crust is golden brown and the egg is fully cooked.
  • Remove from the pan and let the galette cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Slice the galette into wedges and serve.
