Ingredients:
- Le Monde des Crêpes galette
- 1 egg 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat your pan.
- Roll out the pre-made Le Monde des Crêpes galette.
- Break the fresh egg onto the center of the galette dough, leaving about 2 inches of space around the edges.
- Add the chopped basil leaves.
- Fold the edges of the galette dough up and over the egg, forming a circular shape.
- Brush the edges of the galette dough with extra-virgin olive oil.
- Season the egg with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pan-fry the galette, or until the crust is golden brown and the egg is fully cooked.
- Remove from the pan and let the galette cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Slice the galette into wedges and serve.
