Bird tongues are small pasta from the Maghreb in the shape of grains of rice, commonly known in the North as "Greek pasta". They are found in Morocco and Algeria (t'li t'li). They are also called kritharaki, risoni, puntalette. They are often served in soups or in spicy sauces.
