Although green zucchini can reach 1m long, most of the courgettes (the other name of this famous veggie) is more often 10 to 20 cm, harvested unripened to stop its growth. Part of the Cucurbitaceae family, the long green zucchini finds its origins in the armericas, before becoming famous in Italy in the 1800s. Full of vitamin A, it is a precious ally to maintain a good vision and immune system.
